The Harrisdale Project
The kitchen looks beautiful and allows me to do everything I wanted and more.
Caroline
Caroline had been content with her home kitchen but the space limited what she could do with the area. A strong desire for a bar and extended kitchen area, as well as a slightly dated design, were the primary reasons for renovating her Harrisdale home with Precision Cabinets.
With a clear vision of what Caroline wanted to have as a final product, John and the team worked together on a design which realised the extra space for a second kitchen, which also accommodated a bar area. This required the removal of a wall and extension well into the dining area.
An undermount rangehood and canopy rangehood were used in conjunction with the Bosch electric cooktops. A Miele dual oven setup was also installed and Laminex Natural Oak facings were used throughout the kitchen to compliment the Qstone Marmo Romano 20mm Square Edge engineered stone so the quality would be incomparable to the original kitchen.
The Finer Details
To cement the pairing of contemporary laminate and stone, Hettich Narona handles and both a Sirius SID 651 CB and Oliveri Professional Series sink were used for the island and main benchtops, respectively.
Another feature of the kitchen was the 32 bottle wine rack installed at the front of the island bench, for accessibility.
What Could Be Better Than One Kitchen?
The opportunity to get increased use out of a larger kitchen and entertaining area was very attractive to Caroline.
By utilising the space wisely, there was more than enough storage and bench space for the client, essentially providing them with their own variation of a butler’s pantry.
What Our Clients Say
We couldn’t be more satisfied with the high quality workmanship and final look of our new kitchen. It is large enough for us to entertain guests and enjoy living in. We’d highly recommend Precision Cabinets for another project.

The Result
With the kitchen renovation complete, the final result was a contemporary design that fit seamlessly into the rest of the living area. A wall was removed and the kitchen was extended with an island into the dining area.
A bar and second electric stovetop area was provided, as well as additional draw and shelf space. Every component was made to fit perfectly with the rest so the kitchen as a whole, is unmatched when compared to what they had previously.
