The Serpentine Project
Elegant and timelessly modern, in one.
This client was moving back to Western Australia and wanted to set roots in Serpentine. Their hope was to build a home that was designed to their personal needs and would be perfectly crafted to stand the test of time.
To assist with this process, they commissioned the help of a design architect who meticulously created the look and feel they wanted from their home. Once satisfied with everything, from the kitchen cabinetry to the office layout, they contacted Precision Cabinets to help turn the vision into reality. This required that we produce precise drawings for every area of the home requiring custom cabinetry – ensuring the desired look could be realised.
The details ranged from immaculately cut 40mm Silestone Calacatta Gold engineered stone benches and Hafele handles in the kitchen, to custom mouldings and sharp profile facings in the bedrooms. The polished timber bench and 40mm Polytec floating shelf used in the study added welcome variety to the home design while still being consistent with the Colonial-esque theme of the entire home.
The high level of workmanship delivered a very special result for two very happy homeowners, at the end of the project.
The Finer Details
For this kitchen, emphasis was given on maintaining the colonial theme, throughout the entire space. To accomplish that, Hafele knobs were used as an appropriate pairing with the Ballarat Thermo Style facings. Kickers were also designed to be flush with cabinetry carcasses so that an 87mm high skirting could be installed. The results speak for themselves. Find out more about our Hamptons kitchen design.
